Creative Workflow Hacks is the blog for you. I especially enjoyed this post that illustrates how to get under the hood of Final Cut Pro XML files in the most useful way.

How I wish Avid had such an accessible format. Too bad AAF never took off.

    Don’t give up on AAF yet – it’s still growing as a standard. A bigger problem with Avid’s implementation of AAF is the amount of “dark” data they use – data that can’t be accessed by any other application, making the Avid more of an island than it should be.
