Must-have Final Cut Pro utility

A very uselful utility for backing up all your Final Cut Pro preferences in one place. I’ve put the applicaiton and my preferences on a USB drive, so I’m never without. FCP Attic by Brian Summa also saves workspace layouts and custom buttons. Don’t leave home without it.

I have customized my keyboard so much, that I can’t edit with the standard FCP layout. This little app saves me from the embarassing situation of searching for the insert edit key in front of the client.
